Fatality in Mount Olive Residential Fire

Acting Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Mount Olive Police Chief Mark Spitzer announce an on-going investigation into a fatal fire that occurred on May 7, 2014 at 176 Flanders Drakestown Road in Mount Olive.  
The investigation has revealed that James Polucki died during the course of a fire at his personal residence.  No other injuries were reported and the fire was extinguished due to efforts by first responders. 
The investigation has revealed that this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.  The Morris County Prosecutor's Office does not anticipate any criminal charges being filed in this matter.
