Dover Man Charged With Kidnapping, Robbery and Sexual Offenses

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Dover Police Department Public Safety Director Dan DeGroot announce that Shaquor Singletary, age twenty-three (23), was arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including charges of first degree Kidnapping, first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, second degree Robbery, third degree Aggravated Assault and third degree Terroristic Threats.
Singletary, a Dover resident, born October 7, 1993, is alleged to have forced an adult female victim into a residence in Dover on December 17, 2016. It is further alleged that Singletary threatened the victim, physically and sexually assaulted her, and later forced her to withdraw money from an ATM and turn it over to him.
Singletary was arrested and charged on December 19, 2016. Singletary's bail is currently set at $250,000.00 full.
