On Tuesday, June 13, 2018, Chief Assistant Prosecutor Brad Seabury presented on the Heroin and Opioid Epidemic to members of St. Virgil's Parish in Morris Plains. The event was held at the Tracey Center, and was organized with the help of the Knights of Columbus Bishop McLaughlin Council. Approximately fifty members of St. Virgil's Parish attended the one hour presentation, and were eager to learn about how the Morris County Prosecutor's Office has been combatting the Heroin and Opioid Epidemic. Following his presentation, Chief Assistant Prosecutor Seabury fielded questions from the audience. Community education is a crucial aspect in combatting the Heroin and Opioid Epidemic, and Chief Assistant Prosecutor Seabury's Opiates 101 presentations, provide the groundwork of knowledge that is often missing in communities.
