Borough of Wharton Armed Robbery

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp and Borough of Wharton Police Chief Anthony Fernandez announce an active investigation into an armed robbery that occurred on February 19, 2015 in the Borough of Wharton, New Jersey.

On February 19, 2015, at approximately 7:46 p.m.., a report of an armed robbery was made involving an incident that occurred at the Delta Gas Station, located at 217 South Main Street in the Borough of Wharton.   

Initial reports indicated that two males entered the Delta Gas Station, and one of the males brandished a firearm and demanded money from the gas station employee.  The two individuals ultimately fled the scene on foot.
