Morris County Surrogate Heather J. Darling is proud to release the Surrogate’s Annual Report for 2023, showcasing significant achievements and improvements in service delivery. The office collected $655,965 in fees and negotiated the most favorable interest rate in New Jersey for the Surrogates Intermingled Trust Fund, benefiting guardianship accounts across the county. Continuous efforts to streamline processes, both in-person and online, have been highlighted, including the introduction of Creature Comfort Pet Therapy to support clients during the emotionally challenging process of handling a loved one's estate. These initiatives reflect Surrogate Darling's ongoing commitment to transparency and exceptional service.
Looking ahead, the Morris County Surrogate's Office plans to continue its excellent service and technological enhancements to improve service efficiency and convenience.
