Morris County Surrogate Announces Enhancement to E-Probate

Morris County Surrogate Heather Darling announced a further enhancement to the Surrogate’s Court operations to provide convenience and ease of use for transactions with her office. The new credit card application was designed to further enhance the e Probate option for both Probate and Administration of estates at the Morris County Surrogate’s Court.

Surrogate Heather Darling Honored for Her Leadership and Service

Morris County Surrogate Heather Darling was honored at Employment Horizons’ Annual Recognition Dinner on October 14, 2021. Surrogate Darling served as the Honorary Chair of the event and was also the recipient of Employment Horizons’ Government Advocacy Award.

Surrogate Darling Named as COANJ Officer and Surrogates Section Chief

Surrogate Heather J. Darling, Esq. was named an Officer of the Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey (COANJ). Surrogate Darling has accepted the position of Secretary of the association and was sworn in last evening September 16th at COANJ’s Installation Dinner. Additionally, Surrogate Darling was named the Surrogates Section Chief for 2021-2022.

She asked to restore programs that employed thousands of individuals with disabilities until they were shut down in March when in a letter from Asaro-Angelo it was ordered that all Extended Employment Programs cease on or before March 17th.
