Stigma Free: Coping with Anxiety and Depression During COVID-19

Woman with her hands over her face in sadness

COVID-19 continues to impact social and emotional well-being of children and adults; with feelings of anxiety and depression reported as the most common symptoms.

This program will:

  1. Help parents assist their children with effective coping skills, reinforce the resiliency that our children have, and identify additional resources and supports for their family
  2. Help parents learn to develop a sense of "thriving" instead of "surviving" with feelings of uncertainty and control
  3. Address when parents need to reach out for professional help for their child or themselves

This workshop will be offered in-person and virtually.

The Jefferson Township Public Library will offer activities with Ms. Chris in the main library for participants in need of childcare.
