Morris Freeholders (now Commissioners) Proclaimed April 2019 as Fair Housing Month this morning, supporting the Fair Housing Act that gives every American has the right to fair housing opportunities where they can live in dignity and without fear of discrimination.
Members of the Commission were at Neighborhood House’s Community Family Day in Morristown. Denise Lanza, Harshad Anjaria, Sue and Meyer Rosenthal.
Periodically, the Commission hosts “Many Lands, One County”, which is a public event highlighting music, dancing, crafts, and storytelling from the diverse cultures that make up Morris County.

The Human Relations Commission meets bi-monthly at the Public Meeting Room of the Morris County Administration Building.
Members of the Commission join students from Jefferson Township High School’s Project Stay Gold, an award winning program about human trafficking and modern day slavery.
