Virtual Open Houses Cover How to Get a Job, a Better Job or Improve Your Skills

The Center For Workforce Development Plans Virtual Open House Dates at County College on January 7, 9, 11
Learn how to boost your career, whether you need to get a job, get a better job, or get better at the job you’re in, during three virtual open house dates sponsored by the Center for Workforce Development at County College of Morris.
During the sessions, teachers and administrators will cover spring courses and professional certificate programs scheduled from January through June. Listen in as the instructors describe their classes. You’ll get the chance to ask questions as well as tips on boosting your resume.
Each Virtual Open House highlights different programs. For specific topics offered each day, visit the Center for Workforce Development at CCM, at ccm.edu/workforce/.
- Thursday, Jan. 7, from 7 – 8:45 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 9, from 9 – 11 a.m.
- Monday, Jan. 11, from 7 – 8:45 p.m.

Programs discussed include:
- Advanced Manufacturing Pre-Apprentice and Apprenticeship programs held in the brand new Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering building.
- Career path to become an IT pro with CompTIA A+.
- Certification in Tableau through Data Analytics and Data Visualization certificate courses.
- Microsoft Office Suite of Applications, and certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).
- English Language program for speakers of other languages.
- Teacher certification for those who have a Bachelor’s Degree.
- A multitude of career paths in the healthcare industry.
- Certifications in ASQ Six Sigma, Supply Chain, Project Management, HR, nonprofit leadership.
