Don’t Click the Link on “Urgent” and “New” COVID-19 Data!
With many new cases of Coronavirus being recorded daily, the bad guys know that many people are afraid — and they plan to exploit that fear, warns the Morris County Office of Information Technology.
They are sending phishing emails claiming to have official “new” or “updated” data on COVID-19 in your area.
These emails are intense, urgent, and are designed to spark a knee-jerk reaction. Don’t fall victim to their scare tactics!
Remember the following to protect yourself:
Stop Look Think – Don’t be fooled!
