Hanover Joins with FDU, Community FoodBank and Feeding America

Community Foodbank of NJ logoIn partnership with Fairleigh Dickinson University’s School of Public and Global Affairs, Community FoodBank of New Jersey and Feeding America, Hanover Township is collecting food to benefit the Community FoodBank.

Residents from Hanover and all of Morris County are invited to contribute nonperishable items at donation bins to be set up in the rotunda of Hanover Town Hall, 1000 Rte. 10 West in Whippany from Dec. 2 through Dec.13.

Collections can be made during business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All of the proceeds will benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, a member of Feeding America, the largest hunger-relief organization in the United States.

The Hanover Township Committee would like to thank the community for supporting this food drive and helping to feed New Jersey neighbors in need during the holiday season.
