A special program on Alzheimer’s Disease, taking a look at all aspects of the disease and its treatment, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., at the Boonton Holmes Public Library in Boonton.
This program, which is free and open to all Morris County resident, will provide a comprehensive overview for anyone who wants to learn about memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of dementia.
Information about risk factors and warning signs, steps to obtaining a diagnosis, and treatment options are discussed. Planning for the future, coping with behavioral and other changes, and accessing community resources are also reviewed.
The workshop is sponsored by Alzheimer’s New Jersey. Light refreshments will be provided by Highbridge Care Center.
