Event at the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown
Jean Chatzky of NBC’s “Today” Show will speak at a business luncheon being held Dec. 6 at the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown. The luncheon is being hosted by the Women in Business Program of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.
Chatzky is the financial editor of NBC’s “Today” show, host of the podcast “HerMoney with Jean Chatzky” on iTunes, an award-winning personal finance journalist and AARP’s personal finance ambassador.
She also is a best-selling author and her newest book, “AgeProof: Living Longer Without Running Out of Money or Breaking a Hip,” which she wrote with Dr. Michael Roizen, is a bestseller on The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
After starting her career as a writer for Wall Street analysts, Chatzky became a fact-checker at Forbes before moving to The Wall Street Journal to write for its start-up personal finance publication, SmartMoney. From there she moved to her current position as financial editor on “Today.”
“Jean is the ideal keynote for a Women in Business luncheon,” said Debbie Wolpov, CEO of Merx Payments and chair of the chamber’s Women Business Program. “Our luncheons draw professional women from all a diversity of careers and sectors from throughout Morris County and beyond. As such, we all are finance-oriented and we expect everyone to walk away from this event with beneficial action steps as a result of listening to Jean speak.”
The luncheon also will serve to honor the M&T Bank 2019 Woman of Achievement award winner.
The luncheon is open to all members of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce and the general public. Tickets are $65 for chamber members who register online and $130 for non members. To register, visit https://web.morrischamber.org/events?oe=true.
