U.S. Census Bureau representatives will be at the Morris County Library in Hanover Township today (Tuesday) and Thursday to take job applications for work on the 2020 census count.

Representatives will be at an information table in the library’s lobby from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct, 29 and Thursday, Oct. 31.Apply for 2020 Census Jobs at the Morris County Library Today and Thursday

Applicants for Census jobs will be able to use the public computer to apply for a position.

The Census Bureau is looking for persons to be census takers, going door-to-door to get census information from county residents who do not fill out the census forms that are mailed to them. The hours are flexible and the pay is $21 per hour.

The job will be at least eight weeks, starting in March or April, 2020, and with a possibility of time period extensions.
