Expert Panel to Examine Corporate Sustainability on Health & Wellness, Community Engagement, Philanthropy and Environmental Issues
In a first-of-its-kind event, the Morris County Economic Development Corporation and Morris County Chamber of Commerce will present an Innovation & Sustainability Forum, to be held on Nov. 15 at the Hanover Marriott in Hanover Township.
This inaugural event will focus on how companies are transforming through corporate social innovation.
Discussions will explore alignment with sustainable leadership practices, organizational dynamics that link profitability and corporate social responsibility and employee engagement initiatives that create a culture of private enterprise operating in the global public interest.
A unique panel discussion will be moderated by Jeana Wirtenberg, Associate Professor of Professional Practice in the Management & Global Business Department at Rutgers Business School and co-director of the Rutgers Institute for Corporate Social Innovation.
“We created the Innovation & Sustainability Forum to reflect the robust pace of transformative change that Morris County and New Jersey companies are leading across a broad range of industries,” said Meghan Hunscher, Executive Director of the Morris County Economic Development Corporation.
“I am delighted to have both the support of Rutgers and the MCEDC in assembling a dynamic panel that includes senior leaders from BASF, PSE&G and Wyndham, as well as entrepreneurs who founded organizations such as Caring Capital, Legacy Philanthropy Group and Fitness Coaching,” said Jeana Wirtenberg.
Morris County is one of the leading regions in the country for entrepreneurial endeavor. It is imperative that we provide future-directed programming that empowers our membership to collaborate and educate on next generation practices in business sustainability,” said Paul Boudreau, president of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.
Exhibit tables and sponsorships, including tables of ten, are available. In addition to sponsors RICSI and Church & Dwight, exhibitors include Autmow, Bohler Engineering, Caring Capital, Dancker, Dewberry, Edward Jones, First Environment, Greener by Design, Joyce Honda, Manager Academy, New Verdant, Nomad Oil, Pfister Energy, Schumacher Chevrolet, Thomas Edison State University, Thrive and Verizon
