To help non-profit applicants and municipalities better meet the needs of their historic preservation projects, the county has scheduled a Historic Preservation Program Workshop on the evening of Nov. 5.
Topics will include: working with architect/consultant, cost estimation, bidding, contingencies for construction work, insurance, public access, long-term commitment beyond completion of a preservation project, and more.
The session will include presentations from the historic site managers on a selection of preservation projects.
Date: Monday, Nov. 5, 7- 8:30 p.m.
Location: County Cultural Center, 300 Mendham Road (County Rte 510), Morris Township.
