Updates from Morris County: Get the latest on COVID-19

The Morris County Communications Center is experiencing a significantly high call volume due to emergent snowstorm events.

It is imperative that residents do not call 911 unless it is a life-threatening situation.

Report all wires down incidents or power outage situations directly to JCP&L — unless they involve a life-threating situation.

JCP&L reminds customers to immediately report downed wires to their utility at 888LIGHTSS
(888-544-4877), or to their local police or fire department.

To get up-to-date information on the repair work progress, follow JCP&L on Twitter @JCP_L, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/JCPandL or online at www.jcp-l.com

If you have a question about local roads or municipal issues, contact your local police. Please, do not call 911.

Although they are keeping restoration crews in place, restoration work has temporarily stopped as a result of severe weather conditions. The company will continue to monitor weather conditions to determine when work will resume.

JCP&L has pledged to remain focused on restoring customers who have been out of service the longest, and will address any new outages based on its priority system that deals with the largest outages first.
