Join the gardeners at Frelinghuysen to learn the correct way to plant a tree, to know what you should look for when
purchasing a tree from a nursery, and how to care for your tree once it is planted.

You can practice these skills at the April 29 event by helping the volunteers at Frelinghuysen to plant some trees at the arboretum, and you can take home a native tree sapling home to plant in  your own backyard.

The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is located at 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township, N.J. 07960. You can register for the event online at or call 973.326.7603. You must register by April 22. The fee is $5 per person.

This program is eligible for 1.0 Rutgers Master Gardener CEU’s.
