The New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) and the New Jersey State League of Municipalities (NJSLOM) hosted a press conference on Monday to address the shutdown of critical road and bridge projects across the state.

Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes, Monmouth County Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone, and Hope Township Mayor Timothy McDonough discussed the shutdown’s impact on their communities, and urged state leaders to find a solution that resolves this unprecedented transportation crisis.

Morris County is a member of NJAC and it’s 39 towns are members of the State League of Municipalities. Morris County and its towns are affected by this impasse, as are all counties and towns statewide.
