“The Morris County Board of Freeholders offers its deepest condolences on the unfortunate death of Morris County Corrections Officer Timothy Stoll. He was an excellent officer who served the county with distinction.
“He worked at the corrections facility for 12 years, serving most recently as quartermaster, and was an example of the fine staff the county has at the jail, who have made it one of the top correctional facilities in the nation.
“Our sympathies go out to Officer Stoll’s family, especially his wife and two young children. We can only imagine their grief at this terrible tragedy.
“We also offer our condolences to Warden Chris Klein and the officers and staff at the Morris County Correctional Facility, on the loss of their long-time friend and colleague.’’
