Plant the seeds for a love of nature in “Seedlings.” In this program, preschoolers ages 3 and 4 and their adult caregivers will discover the wonders of nature every Monday morning.

Park Commission

Each week features a different theme based on what is growing in the gardens. We begin with story time under the Story Tree and complete the class with a 5 senses outdoor exploration of the arboretum.

Preschoolers explore different gardens and learn to look at the garden as a living, changing place. Learn the importance of plants and the reasons they need care. Each class includes an activity and a story.

This program runs Mondays, April 11, April 18, April 25, May 2, May 9, May 16 and May 23, rain or shine.
