The Morris County School of Technology in Denville has scheduled be holding an Information Session for their Share Time High School Programs on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria, Building One.
Interested sophomores and their families are invited to learn about our half day programs, providing students the opportunity to receive daily career and technical education training as part of their junior and senior year high school program.
Additionally, students and parents will have the opportunity to tour the facilities, learn about the application process, and admissions criteria.
Morris County School of Technology offers the following Share Time programs: Auto Body Collision Repair, Automotive Service Technology, Carpentry, Fundamentals of Building & Grounds Maintenance, Fundamentals of Food Services, Fundamentals of Retail & Supermarket Careers, Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing (in partnership with County College of Morris), Computer Aided Design and Drafting, Cosmetology, Electrical Trades, Plumbing and Pipefitting, and Welding.
Fundamentals courses are special class programs designed for students who require a smaller class size.
Students in 10th or 11th grade may apply via online application at www.mcvts.org under Admissions>Application Form> Share Time Programs tabs. The application deadline is April 4th.
The Share Time programs provide high school students with the opportunity to build valuable career readiness skills, earn industry standard certifications, prepare for post secondary education, and gain real world experience.
