Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and East Hanover Police Chief Stanley J. Hansen announce the arrest of 32 year-old Giuseppe Iellimo on two counts of sexual assault, one count of criminal sexual contact, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
The offense in question allegedly occurred on Dec. 24th at Giulietta & Romeo Pizzeria and Ristorante in East Hanover.
The following day, the alleged victim, a 15 year-old female, reported that the defendant engaged in acts of sexual contact and penetration with her against her will. The defendant was charged on Dec. 30 following an investigation.
Bail was set by the Superior Court Judge James M. DeMarzo at $60,000, with no 10 percent payment option, and conditions of no contact with anyone under the age of 16.

A criminal complaint is merely an accusation. Despite this accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until he or she is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
