Morristown, N.J. – On May 27, The Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders awarded additional contracts for Morris County’s 2015 road resurfacing program that commenced earlier this month. This is the continuation of an ambitious 32-mile program for 2015, funded through county and state dollars.
These awards will cover projects to include the milling and resurfacing of Parsippany Boulevard in the Township of Parsippany Troy-Hills, Old Denville Road in the Townships of Boonton and Denville, and Berkshire Valley Road and Green Pond Road in the Township of Jefferson, and will commence sometime during the summer months.
“Our goal is to move quickly to resurface the county roads that need it the most,” commented Morris County Freeholder David Scapicchio “ It is early in the season to have five projects awarded, and one already underway. I am proud of the investment we will make in county infrastructure this year.”
