In presenting the certificates, the freeholders praised the scouts for their willingness to help others and for completing their respective service projects that earned them the Eagle Scout rank.

Moroney’s project involved writing and staging a musical production for the Mayor’s Council for People with Challenges in Denville, while Ochs repaired a service road for the Department of Persons with Disabilities in Jefferson.

Remshifski built a handicapped accessible fishing dock at a Roxbury park for his project, and Savino landscaped and beautified the grounds of a church in Mount Arlington.
