The Morris County Sheriff’s Office is kicking off the agency’s yearlong 275th anniversary celebration with the dedication of plaques honoring two former sheriffs.
Sheriff Edward V. Rochford said his office plans to dedicate plaques recognizing the longtime service of former sheriffs Arnold Ladd and John M. Fox.
Ladd was in office from 1947 to 1974, and Fox served as Morris County Sheriff from 1975 until 1992.
The plaques will be dedicated during a ceremony in the Morris County Courthouse Jury Room on Friday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m.
