The Morris County Library is once again collecting new children’s books that will be distributed to needy youngsters in the county this holiday season.  It is part of the New Jersey State Library Association’s “Books for Kids” drive.
New books for infants through teens may be dropped off in the Children’s Room at the county library, located at 30 East Hanover Ave. in Whippany, through Dec. 7.  The reading material will then be distributed to children and teens of area families who have limited access to books.
Last year’s “Books for Kids” drive at the county library collected 400 books.

The Morris County Library is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
