The freeholders, at their Sept. 25 work session in Morristown
, presented a proclamation from the board to Tom Werder, executive director of Morris Arts.
The proclamation points to the arts and humanities as “enhancing and enriching the lives of every American.”
It also extols the virtues of the many arts and humanities organizations in MorrisCounty
, and urges citizens to “celebrate, promote, support and begin a lifelong habit of participation in the many outstanding arts and cultural opportunities Morris County
has to offer.”
