The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority has rescheduled its 25th Recycling Awards Dinner for April 17, 2013.
The event, “Food for Thought: the Past, the Present and the Future of Recycling,” had been set for Nov. 2, but damage caused by Hurricane Sandy forced the dinner’s postponement.
The MUA uses the event to honor businesses, individuals, schools and other organizations for their contributions toward waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and litter abatement.
The event will take place at the Hanover Manor, 16 Eagle Rock Ave. in East Hanover beginning at 6:30 p.m.
More information may be obtained by calling the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority at 973-285-8395.
