Morris County freeholders William Chegwidden and John Murphy on Dec. 27 participated in their final meeting as members of the freeholder board.
Chegwidden leaves the board after six years, while Murphy steps down after a 15-year tenure.
Their freeholder colleagues paid tribute to each and thanked them both for their service to the county.
Chegwidden led the board as its director the last two years. Murphy served as freeholder director in 2002 and again in 2003.
