Morris County’s Office of Emergency Management is working closely with our towns in Sandy’s aftermath.  We are posting information as we get it on two blogs: Road information at, and all other public information, including information from towns as we receive it on

We are updating and posting messages via Twitter on both @MorrisCountyNJ and @MCUrgent.

JCP&L outage maps show more than 86% of Morris County is without power. In many towns, roads are impassible. Damage is extensive.

Emergency officials ask everyone to stay home and not travel while emergency, road and power crews work.

Thank you for your assistance.
