Morris County is facilitating citizen comments on the Draft Final State Strategic Plan directly to the New Jersey Office of Planning Advocacy.

That state office said it is accepting comments on the Plan until April 2, 2012. Anyone wishing to comment on the plan may do so by completing an electronic form the county has included in the “Forms” section of the Morris County government website,

After completing the form, an individual may submit it online directly to the New Jersey Office of Planning Advocacy.

Comments can also be submitted electronically to [email protected] or by the U.S. Postal Service to the New Jersey Department of State, Office for Planning Advocacy, 225 West State Street, PO Box 820, Trenton, NJ 08625-0820.

Submission of written public comments may also be directed to the State Planning Commission at [email protected]

The Plan and its supporting documents are also available online on the Office for Planning Advocacy’s website.

The county’s professional staff will continue to monitor action surrounding the Plan and will keep the Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Morris County Planning Board informed as to the Plan’s status.
