Morris County is proposing an amendment to its 2009 Community Development Block Grant-Recovery Program to reflect a reallocation of funds resulting from a balance of $22,970 that remains from a completed activity.

The county proposes to divide the $22,970 and reallocate those funds to other 2009 CDBG-R activities.

Under the proposed amendment, $4,800 would be reallocated to Florham Park for ADA accessibility on Briarwood Road; $6,057 would be reallocated to the Interfaith Council for Homeless Families for parking area/entrance accessibility; $6,056 would be reallocated to the Interfaith Food Pantry for parking area paving; and $6,057would be reallocated to the Housing Authority County of Morris for boiler replacement.

The Housing Authority would also use $14,740 remaining from their original CDBG-R activity toward the replacement of boilers.

Citizens have the opportunity to review and comment on the Proposed Action Plan Amendment through July 12, 2011. Comments and/or questions may be directed to the County of Morris Division of Community Development, P.O. Box 900, Morristown, NJ 07963-0900, or by calling 973-285-6060.
