The Morris County Library has suspended its Sunday hours until Sept. 11.
Library Director Lynne Olver said budget reductions, which are affecting all areas of county government, limit the library to being open 28 Sundays this year.
Olver said she regrets any inconvenience this may cause library patrons, but the library, like all other areas of county government, must share in the efforts to reduce spending.
The Morris County Library, 30 East Hanover Ave., in Whippany, is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library will be closed Good Friday, April 22.
