The Morris County School of Technology’s Child Related Careers program in Denville is accepting preschool applications for the fall 2011 morning and afternoon sessions.

The preschool programs run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from either 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. or 12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., from the end of September to the beginning of June.

The preschooler must be 3 ½ years old by Oct. 10, 2011, and a resident of Morris County. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis, and preschool applications will be available January 3, 2011.

Students in the Academy for Child Related Careers at the Morris County School of Technology focus on career exploration, child growth and development, developmental psychology and teaching methodology.

Students observe and work with preschoolers in a specially-equipped child care laboratory. The course of study is designed to provide students with many options for their post secondary education and college majors relating to children, education and human services.

The Morris County Vocational School District offers programs for Morris County high school students, including Academic and Career Academies, Share Time Programs and Share Time Programs for Special Needs students and Adult Education programs.
