The series of shared services education sessions sponsored by the Morris County Freeholders continues Sept. 16 with the workshop “Managing Difficult Employees.”
The workshop, at the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy, 500 West Hanover Avenue in Parsippany, begins at 9 a.m. with coffee at 8:30 a.m. and will be presented by Fredric M. Knapp, Esq., founding member of the Florham Park law firm Knapp, Trimboli, & Prusinowski, LLC.
Knapp, a former Deputy State Attorney General and a former Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, specializes in labor and employment law representing both public and private entities in such areas as contract negotiations, employee disciplinary matters and employment litigation.

The session will cover such topics as workplace conduct, abuse of leave time, health and disability issues and steps in preparing to deal with a difficult employee.
Registration by Sept. 10 is required. Additional information may be obtained by contacting Linda Murphy, Morris County shared services coordinator, at 973-631-5038 or at [email protected] .
Other freeholder-sponsored workshops have covered such areas as supervising skills, conflict resolution and sexual and other forms of harassment.
