The Morris County Community Development Program will conduct a public hearing April 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Knox Room on the 5th floor of the county Administration and Records Building on Court Street in Morristown on the county’s projected use of 2010 Community Development Block Grant funds.

It is estimated that Morris County will receive more than $2.45 million under the program, and another $1.27 million through the HOME Investment Partnerships and the Emergency Shelter Grants programs.

An additional hearing will be held April 15 at noon in the Council Chambers in the Parsippany-Troy Hills Municipal Building, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard in Parsippany on the proposed use of an estimated $290,302 in Community Development funds for Parsippany.

Citizens have the opportunity to review and comment on both plans through April 30.
