History Grants Available in Morris County
The Morris County Heritage Commission has received a grant of $18,684 to provide re-grants for local history projects and General Operating Support (GOS) from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of the Department of State. The re-grant program supports a variety of efforts to increase appreciation, knowledge, and preservation of Morris County’s history. Re-grant awards from $1,000 to $5,000 will be available to history organizations and other non- profit organizations that have a history based project. The Heritage Commission is Moving
The Morris County Heritage Commission is moving! Communications with our administrative staff may be briefly interrupted while our offices and archives are being moved from the Morris County Cultural Center to the Morris County Library. Board Development for Non-Profits
The commission is partnering with the New Jersey Historical Commission to bring Best Practices workshops to the northern New Jersey history community.
