The commission is partnering with the New Jersey Historical Commission to bring Best Practices workshops to the northern New Jersey history community. The Morris County Heritage Commission has received a grant of $18,684 to provide re-grants for local history projects and General Operating Support (GOS) from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of the Department of State. The re-grant program supports a variety of efforts to increase appreciation, knowledge, and preservation of Morris County’s history. Re-grant awards from $1,000 to $5,000 will be available to history organizations and other non- profit organizations that have a history based project.
