Information presented by representatives of the VA New Jersey Health Care System will benefit veterans, dependents, and professionals working with veterans and their families.

“We know the Veterans Administration system can be tricky to navigate at times, so we urge all of our residents who are veterans to attend this session so they understand the rules and can be assured of getting the services and benefits they deserve,’’ said Freeholder Director Kathy DeFillippo.

Topics of discussion will include Enrollment Eligibility, Long Term Care, Prescriptions; Hearing, Vision, and Dental Services, and much more. Veterans also can get their VA Health Care System questions answered.

The session is open to all veterans, including Reservists and National Guard members and their families. Non-Morris County residents are welcome. The benefits reviewed are from the federal government so the information will be helpful to any veteran.

vaThe Veterans’ Affairs Office is located at 340 W. Hanover Ave in Morris Township, across the street from the Public Safety Academy and adjacent to the Morris View Healthcare Centre. The VA event will take place on the ground floor.
