The Morris County Vocational School District is encouraging Morris County tenth grade students to consider applying to one of the school’s career and technical share time education programs. Applications are now available online at www.mcvts.org/admissions.

MCVTS   Students enrolled in the two-year, half day programs will have the opportunity to receive daily career and technical training as part of their junior and/or senior high school program.

Share Time programs include: Auto Body and Collision Repair, Auto Service Technology, Carpentry, Computer Aided Design and Drafting, Cosmetology, Electrical Trades, Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing (in partnership with County College of Morris), Plumbing and Pipefitting, and Welding Technologies.

In addition, there are special class programs designed for students who require a smaller class size.

These Share Time programs include:

  • Fundamentals of Building & Grounds Maintenance
  • Fundamentals of Food Services
  • Fundamentals of Retail
  • Supermarket Careers.

All programs are designed for students to learn through a combination of classroom instruction and hand-on activities utilizing the latest technologies. Upon completion, students will be prepared for careers and pursue workforce placement or may continue on to four-year college or university.

Students may apply via online application at www.mcvts.org under Admissions>Application Form> Share Time Programs tabs.  The application deadline is April 4th.
