If you upgraded your home electronics over the holidays, remember that the old equipment cannot be tossed in the trash.

The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority reminds residents that televisions, computers, electronic tablets, e-book readers, and monitors that have been replaced by new electronic holiday gifts must be taken to designated recycling collection points as required by state law.

A list of those designated recycling collection points in Morris County is available on the MUA website, www.mcmua.com.

Electronics recycling is also the topic of the latest Morris Minutes informational video on the county government’s YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/morriscountynj .
