The State Planning Commission will be conducting two additional public hearings to receive testimony on the draft Final State Strategic State Plan: New Jersey’s State Development and Redevelopment Plan and the draft Infrastructure Needs Assessment.

Residents and local officials will have the opportunity to comment on the draft Strategic Plan during a public hearing Monday, Sept. 10 at the Toms River Municipal Complex, Council Chambers, 33 Washington Street, Toms River. A presentation on the plan will be given at 1 p.m., with the public hearing to follow at 2 p.m.

The second public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 13 at Jersey City’s City Hall, 2nd Floor Council Chambers, 280 Grove Street, Jersey City. A presentation on the plan will be given at 1 p.m., with the public hearing to follow at 2 p.m.

All persons may submit written comments to the State Planning Commission via the Office for Planning Advocacy regarding the draft Final State Development and Redevelopment Plan and the draft Infrastructure Needs Assessment at any time up to 30 days after the last public hearing is conducted.

A copy of the draft Final State Strategic Plan: New Jersey’s State Development and Redevelopment Plan and its supporting documents are available for public inspection at the New Jersey Department of State, Office for Planning Advocacy, 225 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
