The County of Morris is undertaking two railroad grade crossing projects in Roxbury to improve the safety and condition of these crossings and the roadways.

On Friday, Oct. 14, Route 46 will be closed in the area of Railroad Avenue at about 7 p.m. for approximately 24 hours, weather dependant. The planned detour route is online at www.MorrisDOT.org.

Then, on Friday, Oct 21, Route 10 will be closed in the area of Commerce Boulevard. Eastbound lanes will be closed at about 6 p.m. and westbound lanes will be closed at about 8 p.m. Both lanes will be closed for approximately 24 hours, weather dependant. The planned detour routes are also online at www.MorrisDOT.org, with separate detours for eastbound and westbound traffic.

The Morris County Division of Transportation apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates motorists’ patience while the infrastructure is that area is brought to a state of good repair.
