The annual Morris County 4-H Fair is set for Thursday through Sunday, July 21-24 at Chubb Park in Chester.

The 4-H Fair provides a forum for the 4-H members to showcase the projects they’ve been working on during the year, and is also a great opportunity for everyone to come out and enjoy four days of wholesome family fun.

For example, the Exhibit Tent at the 4-H Fair is packed with homemade fair entries, informational displays and hands-on activities for visitors. The Entertainment Tent is filled with live musical performances and interactive demonstrations.

Other 4-H tents house a variety of small animals including dogs, herpetology, poultry and rabbits. There will also be plenty of fair food, pony and hay rides, a petting zoo, a model airplane demonstration, a children’s pet show and amusement rides.

Fireworks are scheduled for Saturday, July 23 at 9:45 p.m.

The Fair will open Thursday, July 21 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, July 22 and 23 from 9:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.; and Sunday, July 24 from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

All Morris County residents are invited to visit the 4-H Fair, serve as a volunteer at the Fair or participate in the many of the activities and contests that are open to the public.
