Superior Court Assignment Judge B. Theodore Bozonelis has retired after 21 years as a Superior Court judge for Morris and Sussex counties.

Bozonelis was honored for his years of service by the Morris County Freeholders during their work session May 11.

The freeholders presented Bozonelis with a Resolution of Appreciation, and praised him for maintaining a “fair and impartial court.”

They also commended the retiring judge for his “strong commitment to the principles of our judicial system.”

The new assignment judge for the Morris-Sussex Vicinage, Judge Thomas Weisenbeck, was on hand when the freeholders made their presentation to Bozonelis, as was Bozonelis’ wife, Helen.
